Earz improvements and enhancements for the 24/25 school year

The main improvements and enhancements to Earz that we realised in the school year 24/25:

• All modules in the app: after giving a wrong answer, you have a better comparison between right and wrong answer

• Quiz module:
– Musicxml files can be added as sound files
– more than 5 answer options possible
– the answer time of all questions (within a level) can be adjusted at once
– answers can be set in fixed order
– per level, the number of answers per question can be set
– open questions can be checked by AI

• Rhythm module:
– number of ‘fill-in’ beats per measure can be set
– in dictation, the ‘counts’ are highlighted during playback

• Melody module:
– own melodies can be added (see explanation video here )

• Interval module:
– answers can be put in a fixed order
– now also dissonant/consonant as an answer option

• Note reading module:
– in addition to ‘reading’, ‘notation’ is now also possible
– option to choose whether the correct octave is important

• Student Tracking System:
– the number of times (game/level) played is now also displayed

• Teachers’ page
– possibility to delete folder + all games in it at once.
– folders can be provided with their own image
– it is possible to create a course (collection of games) for your students
– as a teacher, you can send a message to your students (see explanation video here )
– new explanation videos for teachers.
