Earz is derived from the English word ‘ears’. So you learn (especially) to listen.
The first Earz foundations were laid around 2003 by inventor and initiator Ger Wolthuis, owner of Soundsupply. In his former practice as a teacher he noticed how well computers and games can help teach musical skills.
After the first release Earz quickly hit the ground running; at first mainly at music schools, nowadays in all forms of music education.
Earz has evolved considerably over the years and is enthusiastically built and maintained by:
• Arthur van ‘t Hoog, design;
• Arno Hoogma, programming;
• Ger Wolthuis, content and management.
